What is auto detailing?

How is auto detailing different than a regular car wash? 

A regular car wash misses small bits and parts that are often overlooked. Auto detailing offers a much deeper clean and a more personalized experience when you want your prized procession cleaned. Car washes often use cheap chemicals and dirty equipment causing scratches or other damage to your vehicle.

How should you prepare for a detail?

It is the detailers responsibility to remove all the little bits and pieces from inside your vehicle, however it is greatly appreciated when you remove any personal items or large pieces of trash. The detailer will bring their own extension cords and hoses but the client will have to provide at least one normal electrical outlet, and one water spout.

Why should you get your car detailed?

Detailing helps maintain your vehicle's value, ensures a clean and healthy interior and even protects it from environmental damage.

How often should you get your vehicle detailed?

The initial detail that is recommended in the advanced package, and a maintenance detail to upkeep the work is recommended at least once every 3 weeks. Maintenance prices are decided upon condition of vehicle but are usually cheaper than the basic details.

What is a clay bar treatment?

A clay bar treatment removes bonded contaminants from the paint surface, leaving it smooth and ready for polishing or waxing. When you brush your fingers over your vehicle's paint and feel any coarseness then a clay bar treatment is needed to rejuvenate the paint. Clay bars make your paint ultra smooth and clean as well as bring back a nice shine. Clay bar treatments are followed up by a sealant because they can leave a marring on the paint. However, clay bars are nothing to be worried about as all they do is help.

How long does a detail take?

Details range in time based off packages selected. Obviously the larger the vehicle, the more time it would take. It is expected to be between 1-6 hours. An estimation of time till completion will be given ahead of appointment but it is not guaranteed.
